National Park PSAR Film

I partnered with Congaree National Park to produce a Preventative Search and Rescue (PSAR) film about hiking preparedness. The script was written by the park rangers, but filming, lighting, editing, and audio dubbing was done exclusively by me. In addition to the normal challenges that come with filming a project on this scale, I worked closely alongside the National Park Service to follow the strict guidelines that federal organizations have for external communication. These include working with an ADA specialist to ensure the video had properly encoded closed captions that were formatted to work with accessibility devices, receiving and documenting media release forms for publishing the video, and following content guidelines that represent the mission of the park service.
